Our company has grown on our love for animals, and that love continues to be the root of our success. We know how difficult and heartbreaking it can be to leave your pets at home, whether you are away for the day or traveling for extended periods of time. We are dedicated to providing and maintaining a stress-free, loving and familiar environment for your pet’s. Our knowledge and continuing education in pet care, nutrition, and safety provides all of the pet’s in our care with a great friend and guardian, and most importantly provides you, our client with peace of mind.

We are always available to help our clients, as well as speak with anyone who is interested in designing a pet care plan of their own. We are members of Pet Sitters International and have obtained the certification of CPPS (Certified Professional Pet Sitter) from Pet Sitters International (PSI) This certification requires a demonstration of knowledge in pet care for multiple kinds of pets, customer service, and basic pet business practices. This certification must be renewed every 3 years by obtaining 30 Continued Education Units.

To help our business run as smoothly as possible we take advantage of all that technology has to offer We use a high-tech scheduling and database system so NO pet is ever left behind.
This portal also provides convenience for our clients to book pet care, view their personal service calendar, and update their billing information and password.
Our clients are able to keep their files up-to-date electronically so nothing falls through the cracks. The scheduling software also offers a mobile application, Time to Pet, which allows our clients to keep in real-time contact with their pet sitter.

Jan Archer
Hi! My name is Jan Archer and I am the owner of The Sitter of Pawz. Throughout my life I have owned a wide variety of animals and they have all lived long, healthy lives. I have over 15 years of experience with pet-sitting all kinds of critters and have owned The Sitter of Pawz for the past 9 years.
My staff and I are firm believers in “the customer is always right” even if they are four-legged, furry ones! My employees & I are committed to providing excellent care not only for your fur family but for you as well. We would love nothing more than to be considered part of your extended family.
Tamara
Tamara Merrill and her family moved from Austin, TX to Keller in 2014. Prior to being a pet sitter Tamara was an international flight attendant for 12 years and showed horses competitively. She has 3 younger children and 3 wonderful pups (Yellow Lab, Shepard mix, Chi-mix) two are foster, “failures”, and two adopted kitties.
They are all very loved, and maybe a bit spoiled. She has owned/cared for horses, dogs, cats, rats, turtles, snakes, rabbits, and birds. She has fostered pups and cats for the past 8 years and loves helping them all find their forever homes!
